Alton Physical Therapy, Now Serving Anderson Hospital Patients
Anderson Hospital and Alton Physical Therapy have joined together to expand access to personalized, high-quality physical therapy throughout the Metro East. At our Edwardsville location inside of the Anderson Hospital Wellness Center, patients receive individualized rehabilitation from experienced professionals focused on reducing pain, restoring movement, rebuilding strength, and helping you return to the activities that matter most.
Meet Our Alton Team Members

Lucas Milan
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Lucas was born and raised in Grafton, IL. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, followed by his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northern Illinois University. In addition, Lucas holds certifications in personal training and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA.
He enjoys working with patients of all backgrounds but has a particular passion for orthopedic physical therapy and helping patients manage pain, restore function, and return to the activities they love.
Outside of the clinic, Lucas enjoys watching sports, fishing, weightlifting, and spending time with his friends, family, and pets. He is excited to continue expanding his knowledge and clinical experience to best serve his patients.

Ryan Kovarik, P.T.A.
Physical Therapist Assistant
Ryan was born and raised in Edwardsville, IL. After graduating from SIUE in 2015 with a degree in Exercise Science, he went on to pursue his degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from SWIC, and graduated in 2018. Ryan was working PRN for Alton Physical Therapy in Staunton and Litchfield, before accepting a full time position in Litchfield.
Ryan enjoys working with a variety of patients, from athletes to patients recovering from a recent orthopedic surgery. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his friends and family, cooking, and playing sand volleyball and slow pitch softball.
